Australia Day
About half the staff on the mountain here at Big White are Aussie so Australia Day was always going to be celebrated in a big way. It was a double header ... we had a BBQ and listened to the Triple J hotest 100 on the 25th here then backed it up on the 26th ... it was good times.
The slopes here were covered with people wearing Aussie flags and VB shirts and Kiwis were forced to hibernate for 2 days.
Desmond the Kangaroo was out of control and retired early to bed.
