On the rare occasion that I visit the pub for a quiet ale 🙂 the walk back to my house is always an interesting one. The gondola is open till 10pm so getting to the pub is no problem at all. The fun starts when we leave the pub with our watches displaying AM. There is a road that runs straight past our house but that would take at least 15mins to walk down so the “quick” option is to walk/fall/slide/roll down one of the ski runs. Flat objects are often “aquired” and used as makeshift sleds to slide down the hill at break-neck speeds. It’s all good fun until someone gets hurt I suppose.
On another note … Haacker and Luke left on Wednesday. Had a few beverages on Tuesday night, was a great night! They are off to Silver Star, Whistler, Hawaii then back home. What an epic trip!
