Since I became a Dad I haven’t read that many novels but on a recent work trip I devoured this one.
It was first published in 1986 but I still found it very relevant and interesting.
The book tells the story of 43 year old Jeff Winston who dies and wakes up in his 18 year old body with all his memories intact. I’m not going to write a full review as that would spoil the story but if you like Ground Hog Day and Back to the Future, you’ll love this book like I did. It really got me thinking about the importance of making the most of every day and not settling for second best. It also makes you think about what you would do if you had the opportunity to relive your own life. What would you do differently? At those T intersections that life so often presents, what would happen if you went the other way?
Anyway let me know what you think.
