About half the staff on the mountain here at Big White are Aussie so Australia Day was always going to be celebrated in a big way. It was a double header … we had a BBQ and listened to the Triple J hotest 100 on the 25th here then backed it up on the 26th … it was good times.
The slopes here were covered with people wearing Aussie flags and VB shirts and Kiwis were forced to hibernate for 2 days.
Desmond the Kangaroo was out of control and retired early to bed.
