I started my job at Mountain Internet yesterday and it was awesome. I basically got trained up on the system and how to make coffee etc. My boss is a champ, he’s a keen snowboarder so it’s great that we have that in common. My hours will be 1pm-9pm so I can go boarding every day and will never miss a powder day. I’ll be working part time for the next few weeks then full time after that … good times. I’m going to try and teach some snowboarding lessons in the mornings which will be cool.
Looking at an apartment this arvo, probably going to have to share a room, but shouldn’t be too bad … keen to get out of this hostel. It’s run by the Aussie Mafia and you have to know someone if you want anything done. I’m in a room with some cool people though so it’s not all bad.
On another note … the snow sucks here did a run just then and it’s heaps icy. Going to wait a few hours for it to soften up a bit then head back out. We need SNOW!
